Hi, I’m Joshua Parsley, founder of Thank Heavens Bookkeeping and a contractor and trades bookkeeper based in Hanover, PA. I serve local small businesses and contractors in Hanover and nearby communities, along with clients nationwide remotely.
My work includes monthly bookkeeping, job costing, cleanup, payroll support, and tax-ready records — practical support that helps owners understand what is happening in the business.
I never expected life to lead me here. After losing my mother, I started looking at life, business, and time differently. The pressure of always working, constantly worrying, and putting life on hold no longer felt worth it. Then, in November 2025, I lost my father too, and that changed everything.
Those experiences made me realize how valuable time truly is.
I saw so many small business owners carrying the same weight every day — stressed over finances, overwhelmed by bookkeeping, unsure of their numbers, and spending late nights trying to keep everything together. Many started their businesses to create freedom for their families, yet their finances had become another source of pressure.
That’s why I created Thank Heavens Bookkeeping.
